Ken Black
Kenneth Black (born March 11, 1932) is a former politician in the Canadian province of Ontario. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Liberal from 1987 to 1990, and was a cabinet minister in the government of David Peterson. ==Early life and career==
Black was born in Bracebridge, and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1955.〔(Nomination Category: Community Advocate ), Muskoka Awards 2009, accessed 7 December 2009.〕 He was a secondary school teacher and principal from 1958 to 1980, and was superintendent of the Muskoka Board of Education from 1980 to 1987.〔"Minister's brother to run for Tories", 24 April 1987, A11.〕 He has also served as past president of Muskoka Children's Aid.
